Blackout
Were you affected? If yes, what were you doing at that moment?
I was at home - then went out and sat on the sidewalk just to see the how traffic flows - very interesting indeed!

I was in the library, air-conditioned and genrator-driven; spent most of the night in there before the power came back around midnight.

I was at home when the power went off, near about 4:10 pm EST. It was hot day, so I thought to checkout what was happening in the big intersection and the marketplaces. I took my bike and went, people went crazy; everyone was out just like me, either with their bikes or their dogs.
It was a preety interesting day, enjoyed the radio, but well then too many radio stations were off.
We were preety lucky, got the power back at 4 am in the morning. Today they just finished connecting two-third of the toronto today.
Its being interesting to see the two countries blaming each other for casue of it. A coalition investigation committee was set in this evening to find out the root cause of it.

I was home, and we didn't have power for about 24 hours. Wasn't as bad as they wrote in some newspapaers. I quite liked it, some change in life

I guess we are all boring bunch here - all stayed home, library etc!
Do you know how cool it would have been if you got stuck in the elevator by yourself or was in the subway going somewhere or was using your vibrator :P
In the Mosque, I prayed in a dark and smelly room. Gave shezda on someone else's butt! Smell was strong in that particular position!
Anyways, I am soooo glad it wasn't some terrorist act!

I enjoyed driving arround with no signal lights were working. Canadian went crazy and confused in the road, but to me it was another day in road of Dhaka....where signals are useless.
Loved it...Loved it...
