If Nafis scores a century, will he be included in Whatmore's core group?

Depends. Should one good match put you in the cricketing "elite"? Don't think so... Consistent good performances are usually necessary to be included in a test team but of course, things are different in BD's case.

Awesome
Sharek is the man.
Arnab, a century won't get Nafees into Whatmore's core group, but it should put Golla and Hannan's places under pressure and keep them honest.

BBC:
"Skipper Michael Vaughan used six bowlers during the morning session and a temperature well into the 90s made conditions tough.
Iqbal took advantage to register a half century and Rajin Saleh reached 16 not out in an unbroken third wicket stand of 72.
"
Iqbal took advantage ?
give him the due credit.

After these two only Nazimuddin is a regular bat. Are they one batsmen short?
If these two continue inshallah we will get 300. The scoring rate is also good.

lets not talk about 300 just yet!
Couple of outs and we could be all out for 170. Look, with BD, its about applying themselves and building partnerships. Lets just hope they continue to do that not set ourselves a target that we will be disappointed if they dont reach. Ideally, the batsmen would want to spend as much time out as possible, even if they have to cut down on the scoring rate.

This is just peachy. Nafees and Rajin decides to play good in a match when we fielded a side that has a long tail - Last six players are hardly batsmen.
Whatever ground work done by this two well go down the drain if we lose either of them.
