After a disastrous World cup, the ex-coach remains the coach. Papon remains the Head of BCB. Tamim has been cast out of the team. Shakib is focusing more on his MP role.
And, all of a sudden, Shanto from nowhere is the Captain!
No improvements even after a bad WC. No decent thinking going on in the think tank at BCB.

So pleased for Tamim. Top run scorer in BPL and won the Trophy as Captain. A big slap on the face of many. Such a shame that we didn’t have him lead us in the World Cup. Still can’t get over how all that transpired just before the World Cup!

Pure lack of professionalism all round. - Papon's decision to hire Hathurusingha was p***-poor
- Hathuru conspiring to kick out Tamim was poor form, but foreseeable
- Tamim's sudden resignation was childish
- Involving the PM to bring Tamim back into the fold was comical
- Shakib reacting publicly to Tamim's resignation in such a scathing manner only served to unsettle the team
Bunch of jokers. The whole lot of them.

Syleth should not have hosted this game. Given how dew is a major factor it is meaningless. Furthermore on a dew pitch they put alot of green on it

Wonder when Shamim will retire fully from speaking behind a microphone.
He has toned down his cheesy line but the after taste of cringe comments still in memory —-like elder statesman and daal bhaat shot.
He should atleast never be allowed in the presentation ceremony. Looks really unsmart and shabby
