Trapper In Qatar
ESPN E60 did a documentary on living condition of migrant workers in Qatar. Allowing Qatar to host the world cup is downright criminal. All this is the name of "Non Profit Organization". How is it possible for FIFA officials to be so greedy, that they are willing to sell themselves for few million bucks. They are all filthy rich already. Beckenbauer already got banned from all FIFA event for 90 days for not cooperating with investigators. Just goes to show us how much these guys have to hide. I hope FIFA does not get away with this. Even if Qatar loses the right to host the WC, I doubt it will change anything for the migrant workers.
On my way to BD back in 2011, I met a migrant worker from BD working on Kuwait. The entire flight from Kuwait to BD, he told all about his experience. From how he went to Kuwait, where he lives, where he works, how he is treated by his employer. He wanted to know so many things from me about my life in America. How I got here, what I do, what life is like, what people are like. I felt so guilty as I answered his questions.
